After several years of donating her time and expertise to the expansion of Moving Mountains, Sarah Hasted was elected Board President in 2017. For more than 20 years, Sarah has been known for her innovative promotion and appreciation of contemporary and vintage photography and artists. She was the founding partner and director of galleries, Hasted Hunt and Hasted Kraeutler. In 2016, she joined Edelman Companies as a consultant and Vice President of Edelman Arts.
Born and raised in Michigan, Michael moved to NYC to train at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. His television credits include Terriers, Game Of Silence,Tell Me A Story, Frontier, Once Upon A Time, True Blood. Film credits include The Finest Hours, Jack Reacher, Black Snake Moan,Carter & June where Michael recently won the Best Actor Award at the 2017 NY/LA International Film Festival. James has been committed to fulfilling the Moving Mountains mission making a lasting difference to the youth

Aside from having a seat on Moving Mountains' Board of Trustees, Eric is also Head of U.S. Institutional Foreign Exchange Sales at Merrill Lynch; Co. Eric joined the Moving Mountains' board in 2017 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Eric Price is a motivator, always pushing for the best possible outcomes at Moving Mountains!
Aaliyah Roberson has been with MM from the onset. She started as an administrator and worked hand in hand with directors and producers on film sets and theater stages. While living in Ohio, she worked for family services. She developed a Rites of Passage program for girls that teaches them the importance of building a positive image and self-worth. Aaliyah moved back to NYC and worked for the Board of Education. Aaliyah now on the Board and dedicates her time to the mission of Moving Mountains
Mary was born, raised and educated in New York City. She has spent the majority of her professional life practicing law in Washington DC, both in the Federal Government and the private sector. She has served on a variety of non-profit boards in the areas of secondary education. artist cooperatives, and elder services, Her volunteer interests have been at the community level. and include participation in a mentoring program for inner city youth, a camp for the severely handicapped, and day care.
Akwasi's background is in banking as he was with City Bank when he was first introduced to Moving Mountains. Having two son's he was determined to keep them focused and engaged in positive activities. He is now an educator with the NYC Board Of Education, teaching high school students. Working with inner city youth gives Akwasi insight to the challenges they face today. He became a Board member in 2017 is a tremendous asset to the team.
Ebony Rentas spent some time working for Expertise as an Executive recruiter before she founded The Women's Age in 2012. The goal of The Women's Age as a digital media firm, is to inspire, motivate and empower women of all ages while still developing original and user-based online content for women transitioning through key life milestones. Ebony Rentas joined the MM board in 2017, and works diligently to ensure the continued growth of Moving Mountains.
