TAKING CHANCE will screen on Sunday November 8th, 2015 at the Teaneck International Film Festival in Teaneck NJ. The screening will be followed by a Q & A moderated by film and stage producer Dedra Tate. TAKING CHANCE tells the story of Chance a 16 year old aspiring rap artist who writes songs that speak of love and unity. However Chance has been under pressure by his brother and peers to face a bully in school who enjoys humiliating Chance at school and on social media. Chance feels he can ignore this bully until he gives up but with the state of social media following your every move and the reality of weapons being a constant threat he never feels safe.
TAKING CHANCE tells a story thats very common for teens today. Moving Mountains hopes to have as many conversations as possible about this growing issue and hopes to use the film to pro-actively make a change in how young people deal with violence and bullies.
