Jamie Hector
Founder/Mentor/Executive Director

Jamie is a successful actor and producer, currently on NBC' "Heroes" may be best known for his role as Marlo Stansfield from HBO’s "The Wire". Jamie is dedicated to the youth, whom he has been mentoring for many years. A product of Brooklyn, and a product of a similar youth organization in the early stages of his career, Jamie continues to create avenues of success for youth while countering the negative image of urban existence as portrayed in the media and the actual challenges "inner city" youth face everyday. Moving Mountains Inc., is Jamie's vision to improve the lives of the underserved youth growing up in the overwhelming statistics of what he calls "dream-killers"; drug abuse, gang affiliations, illiteracy, violence and incarceration. He has been honored many times over for his work with youth.

Alaine Roberson
Co-founder

Ms. Roberson has worked with youth as a New York City Certified Counselor, and is also a successful talent manager for acclaimed film and television actors, producers and directors. In the past Alaine has been recognized by the OASAS, the DEA, and Hospital Audiences for her ability to use dramatic presentations with youth to affectively reach large audiences with prevention/Intervention strategies. Now a full time talent manager and member of the Talent Managers Association, she brings the professional perspective and guidance to the aspiring young talent.

Ese Ovueraye
Operations/Media Director

A writer and producer in Business and Media, his ample experience in non profit corporate management, having worked as a contract manager/grant writer and as New Business Director for the largest after school program in Brooklyn, the Jackie Robinson Center. His success in organizational management and non-profit operations is an asset to the effectiveness of the program and its corporate responsibilities.

Mentors and Sponsors
Mentors are those who take on program participants as mentees, exposing youth to real world experience while imparting knowledge of their field of expertise.
